The two big questions with any compression stockings are 1) do they fit? 2) do they work? Absolutely! I had to settle for the silicone grips and for toe-less stockings, but for how my legs feel, I’m willing to go with my second choices. The silicone grips do work, but as they constantly get pulled on throughout the day, my calves end up with friction wounds. While I wouldn’t buy another pair with them, I have been able to fold them over and solve that issue. The open toe is actually fine– in winter I wear socks over them and during the summer the toes get to hang out and get some air. Overall, my legs feel so much better and that’s certainly key. I can walk better without the ashiness that came with legs so swollen and awkward that I felt like a 120-year-old every time I had to walk somewhere. With the higher compression and the wide calves, I got a good fit that works really well for me throughout the day.
