Download and Installation Guide The HiFiMan HE400se Super Grills are available as a downloadable file for users with FDM 3D printers. The grill should be printed with the hexagon mesh side facing down, flat on the print bed. This configuration allows for printing without supports. The design is intended for PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle, though other materials may also be suitable. A mirrored version is required for use on the opposite side. Cura slices them fine with default settings. For Bambu slicer you need to select Arachne wall generator in Quality and detect thin wall in Strength to get the mesh to print properly. Fitting Guidance Use double-sided tape to affix the driver wires to the black felt that surrounds the outside of the driver. This step is important to ensure that the wires remain out of the way during installation and do not interfere with the magnets. Please refer to the video below for a detailed installation guide. For additional protection, we recommend removing the fabric from the back of the original grill and placing it over the magnets. This prevents hairs or other debris from entering the headphone enclosure. For visual guidance on the installation process, refer to the video below that demonstrates how to fit the grills. Important Notice While the modification process is relatively simple, it is important to proceed with care to avoid potential damage to the headphones. The mod can generally be completed safely and quickly if instructions are followed attentively.
